NZ Test / tour jersey origin / manufacturers history

New Zealand Test Match Jerseys - When did St. Margaret's stop making / supplying the test match jersey? I am trying to trace the origins of a NZ match worn jersey for a family member. It is made by St. Margarets, has a lace up collar, has the fern sloping slightly to the left armpit.

This particular jersey has the number 12 on the back. Having done some investigations i am inclined to date it in the 1920's but i need some further proof.

If any fundi's can give me some further info i would be greatful.

I do have some pics as well.

Just for some fun, what are your WC semi-final picks?
nz, sa, fr, ire/eng perhaps? i havent seen the draw so this is a thumb suck.

I have subsequently discovered that the Australian jersey was worn by Peter Crittle on the 1963 tour of South Africa.
